Frequently asked questions about GG International
Who does GG International work with?
We advise governments, regulators, development finance institutions, multilateral bodies, and investors, typically on complex reform, infrastructure, and governance agendas in emerging and frontier markets. We also work with technology owners entering our markets.
What does GG do?
We advise governments and institutions on economic reform, financial systems, infrastructure, and governance, combining economic and policy expertise with practical, technology-enabled delivery. We also work with local partners to bring proven technology into our markets. Our seven practices cover AI and digital public infrastructure, economic transformation, financial systems, infrastructure and PPP, climate and energy transition, institutional governance, and market entry.
Does GG work with technology companies?
Yes. We help companies with proven technology enter our markets through local partners, with a focus on AI, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and sustainable building. Our Technology Partners page explains how we work. We declare any commercial interest we hold in a technology or its supplier, and we staff advisory work only with people who have no conflict. Our advice is independent.
How is GG different from a traditional advisory firm?
We are measured against the indicators our clients are accountable for. Our advisors include people who have held the roles they advise on.
Which regions do you operate in?
We have delivered engagements across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania. Explore our Global Reach page to see where we work and the mandates behind each region.
Where can I see examples of your work?
On our Case Studies page you can filter engagements by practice, sector, theme, country, region, and client type. Each case sets out the challenge and our approach, and the impact where it was measured.
